The most talked about date in human history Dec 21, 2012 came and went without perceived change on Earth, OR DID IT?  

On Dec 21.2012 our species ‘subtly’ returned to the spiral of evolution, a RARE and unprecedented gift not yet evident to everyone. Coincidently, scientific cosmology is emerging to help us understand the human predicament, our responsibility to cooperate, and take our rightful place in the Universe to empower a coherent new Earth Garden. 

I found a TedTalk with lawyer Nancy Abrams and her husband cosmologist Joel Primack, which illustrates this rare moment, and how humans fit into the larger scales of cosmic time.
