‘Proof of Heaven’ Author Dr. Eben Alexander Documents Existence of Afterlife

A lifelong science skeptic who never believed in God, Heaven or consciousness
Long before this book was ever written, Dr. Alexander was a practicing neurosurgeon and a lifelong “science skeptic.” He did not believe in consciousness, free will or the existence of a non-physical spirit. Trained in western medical school and surrounded by medical colleagues who are deeply invested in the materialism view of the universe, Dr. Alexander believed that so-called “consciousness” was only an illusion created by the biochemical functioning of the brain.
This is a view held by virtually all of today’s mainstream scientists, including physicists like Stephen Hawking who say that human beings are nothing more than “biological robots” with no consciousness and no free will.

I think it’s interesting to ponder. The afterlife will always be a big question to humanity.

Far easier and far lazier it is to simply attack something than to put in the hours and hours of hard work into researching whether it’s true or not. And something tells me that 99% of the debunkers fail on this front, only relying on using their minds to “reason” rather than having real empirical evidence to back it up, which the Dr does use in addressing each scientific point, in his supporting of something which otherwise can not be experienced or known through empirical evidence because it can only be known through the soul, not something physical. So you doubters keep on going round and round, but you’re the one’s missing out on the love. Because I guarantee, right now, deep down inside, you are NOT really happy and completely fulfilled! You may have yourself and everyone else around you convinced that you are; however, show us empirical evidence that you are 100% happy. You can’t! You cannot prove with 100% undeniable empirical VALID evidence that you are happy. we just have to “take your word for it.” Which leads to the final point: Your experience is your experience, alone. It doesn’t matter what anyone else tries to prove, because it will never make any difference until you find out for yourself through first hand accounting. Playing around with thinking and the mind will never get you there. You have to put in the real effort to find it within. But I understand where people get hung up… It’s because there is another lie, on the perceived “opposing side” which is the threat that people will burn in hell. That fear based teaching is slowly fading away, and will be gone eventually, because it too is deception! It is a deception used to strike fear into people and use a system of guilt to rule and control them. And I do not believe that comes from God at all. No loving God, in my opinion would ever do that. Only encourage, help, and show you the way. The rest, even if there is a hell, is mankind’s invention of the rules that they think revolve around it. I just feel that to be true in my heart, because I KNOW REAL LOVE. As someone who knows REAL love, I know I WOULD NEVER condemn someone to hell! EVER! I would help them learn, and support them, not lay them to eternal waste. I would not even use hell as a fear tactic, because it’s completely counterproductive, but most importantly, THAT’S NOW HOW I WANT TO BE LOVED, by making people afraid not to… What value is that love then, in the end? They just loved me so they wouldn’t get hurt. Great, not even a halfway decent accomplishment there, honestly! I want them to love me because they can feel me and know me, and never look back, because once they do, they will know there is nothing better! But we do experience a form of hell on earth, do we not? My suffering has been so extreme that now I can see much clearer, the contrast between love and evil. This in itself, is the blessing.
