1)You realize there are no satisfying answers to questions that matter in new age.

2)It occurs to you that nobody ever accomplishes anything with this “superior knowledge.”

3)You’re sure your spirit guide had an evil presence, and are tired of denying it to yourself.

4)You ask yourself, “what gives me the power to astral walk, plane travel, etc?”

5)You notice a clarity and true inner peace in some people’s eyes, as opposed to the vacant, delirious look your new age friends have.

6)You notice there are very few people in new age who seem credible, well spoken, and exhibit strong, respectable character.

7)The leaders in new age seem cynical and self-absorbed, and it bothers you that this is how you will be one day.

8)You look around the world and notice an absence of new age organizations committed to doing practical, good works.

9)You find out new age shares much with eastern mysticism, which has been around for thousands of years and wonder why it’s called “new age” when it should be called “repackaged mysticism.”

10)And finally, you decided to grow up and become mature, causing you to see new age for the shallow, self-centered obsession that it is.
