• You pick up your phone and it’s oddly in mid-call.
• Your battery life is diminished or your phone is sluggish.
• When you get your phone bill, there are long, unexplained calls at all hours (when your hacker could be downloading data).

Here are some tips on how to protect yourself:

• Limit physical to your phone from others.
• Change the defaults in your phone when it is brand new.
• Set a password on your phone so only you have access.
• Don’t download unknown programs, like free ring tones or songs.  They could possibly be programs that open up your phone to hacking.
• Keep you phone turned off when not in use.
