A cute and truthfull story. I farmed from the mid 70s to the mid 80s and started out useing the chemical way but it just wasnt holding up to what they said it should so I went organicaly and the neighbors kind of looked at me at the time like I was somekind of wierdo or something. Yes the Weeds did come bad the first year but after that each year they got less and the crops got better. I sold any extra to an organic market at the time and the dairy cattle that I had at the time were more healthy than my neighbors who went the chemical route. I would love to be still farming today but I just started at the wrong time and got cought in some financial troubles and had to quit, but I still think I will be teaching what I learned to others again before I leave this world again.

I believe your knoweldge will be very usefull if the economic sistems colapses, a real independence is whe you do not depends on others to feed yourself. Someone can help to deliver your information to the web !!
