Spiritual Aliveness: Meditation (Owen Waters)

Spiritual aliveness is the result of making your spirituality the day’s number one priority. Achieving this is fairly simple – as simple as being aware of one or two secrets of the universe and then setting your intention for each day.
Life is an expression of your spiritual self. You are here to gain experience on a grand scale. The small details of daily existence may not seem important, but they are all threads in the grand scheme of the life that you, as your inner self, planned before you were born.
It makes sense, therefore, to begin each day by becoming charged with the best supply of life energy available. Then you can make the most of each day’s experiences as they unfold. Life energy, or etheric energy, is the main energy transmitted by the Sun. The Sun also radiates physical energy, such as light and heat, but the amount of physical energy pales in comparison to the amount of life-supporting, etheric energy which courses through our bodies.
At dawn each day, the Sun brings a great change to your local environment. The swing from darkness to light at dawn causes a turbulence in the ethers as the life energy in the atmosphere reorganizes itself for a day of new activity. Sunrise is the time of nature’s awakening. It is the best possible time to recharge yourself for each new day of activity.
By beginning your day with a connection to the Sun’s energy, you are actually aligning with the natural system of Creation. Infinite Being constantly feeds the universe with life energy in order to maintain all motion in the universe. Infinite Being sends the energy needed to maintain life through the central sun of the universe. From there, it works its way through the central suns of the galaxies and then through the suns of each solar system. Local suns radiate physical energy in addition to life energy.
In a world where people’s main focus on life comes through their five physical senses, the Sun takes on a great significance. The Sun is the closest thing to Infinite Being within our sight. What better way to start your day, than to breath in the power of this mighty orb as it awakens you and your surroundings to the energy of the new day? Here’s how to achieve this, with one simple addition to the Infinite Being Meditation technique:
On each in-breath, visualize white light, representing life energy from the Sun, coming into your body via your nostrils. See this white light as filling your entire body every time you inhale.
This fills your whole being with extra life energy because air is a carrier medium for etheric energy. Etheric energy is highly responsive to directed mental pressure so, once the air is inside your lungs, the power of your visualization can be used to direct the life energy to fill your entire body. The energy will automatically follow your mental direction. Here is the Infinite Being Meditation technique, revised to include the life energy charging technique:
Energy Being Meditation Technique
1. Focus your attention on the slow, even flow of breath as it passes in and out of your nostrils.
2. Visualize each in-breath as white light filling your body. Then, at the top of each in-breath, mentally repeat once the affirmation “I am Infinite Being.
3. On the out-breath, allow your attention to follow the flow of air from your nostrils. To induce an immediate calming effect, slow each out-breath and allow it to take up to twice as long as each in-breath.
4. Hold the breath out of your body, if possible for as long as the out-breath. In this quiet space, don’t think, just be. Become quietly aware of thoughts and impressions that may arise from your inner self. The end of each breath cycle thus becomes your personal communion space with your inner being.
5. Return to active intention by starting the breath cycle again at step 1.
Start your twenty-minute meditation and charging session each day, ten minutes before dawn. If dawn is at, say, approximately 7:10 am, then you would plan to start your day with meditation from 7:00 – 7:20 am. Reorganize your daily schedule around the most important natural event of the day. The deeper connection to nature is well worth the effort.
At least once a week, check when sunrise occurs by referring to the news media, or to weather sites such as weather.com. Then you can be in tune with the greatest cosmic forces of revitalization that occur each and every day.
Make meditation at dawn your number one priority of the day. Then everything that follows will be more energized and more in tune with who you really are. Energetically, the highlight of every day is dawn. It is truly a magical time.

i’ve never regularly practiced meditation before but i’ve been reading about it for years, im going to try this tomorrow.

“A Simple and Spiritual Life is the only Life that will survive”!
Such was the testimony of The Hopi people in AZ in their “Declaration of Peace”.

Yet the Hopi peoples of today seem to have given up and given in to “progress”, yet i believe there are those Hopi who yet await the coming of the One they call their “True White Brother”.
And i believe the One called The Messiah is “The True White Brother” of the Hopi peoples and that His Life example and Teachings bore witness to The Truth of “A Simple and Spiritual Life is the only Life that will survive”!
John The Baptist had testified, “He(The Messiah) Whom The Only True GOD(Great Spirit) has sent speaks The Words of GOD: for GOD does not give The Spirit by measure unto Him.” (John 3:34)
The Messiah testified, “I have greater witness than that of John: for The Works which The Father(Great Spirit, GOD,Creator,,) has given me to finish, are the same Works that I do, and they bear witness of Me, that The Father has sent Me.” (John 5:36)
The Messiah also testified, “I have not spoken of Myself; but The Father WHO sent Me, HE gave Me a commandment, what I should say, and how I should speak.” (John 12:49)”
And The Messiah, the spokesman for “Our Father(Great Spirit, GOD, Creator,,)” bore witness to “A Simple and Spiritual Life” and revealed that a man’s sufficiency is of Creation, of The Creator!
“Do not lay up treasures for yourselves upon earth, for that is what moth and rust can corrupt, and where thieves can break through and steal: But lay up treasures for yourselves in Heaven, where neither moth or rust can corrupt, and where thieves can not break through and steal: For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
The light of the body is the eye: if therefore your eye is single, your whole body shall be full of light. But if your eye is evil, your whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in you is darkness, how great is that darkness!
No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. You can not serve both The Only True GOD and money.
Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what you shall eat, or what you shall drink; nor yet for your body, what you shall put on. Is not The Life more than meat, and the body than clothes?
Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your Heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much better than they?
Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature? And why do you take thought for clothes? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these flowers. Wherefore, if The Only True GOD so clothes the grass of the field, which to day is, and tomorrow is cast into the oven, shall HE not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?
Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, how shall we be clothed? (For after all these things do the worldly seek) For your Heavenly Father knows that you have need of all these things. But seek first the Kingdom of GOD, and HIS righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Take therefore no thought for tomorrow: for tomorrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Every day has evils enough of it’s own.” (Matthew 6:19-34)
Simply, sad for all those who believe in “self-sufficiency” ;-(
Yet, i believe that is just a term that has been used in ignorance by many who in Truth are living The Life that bears witness to Creation sufficiency.
Now The Only True GOD, Father(Creator) of ALL, HE promised to “fulfill all the needs of HIS Children richly, through HIS Son The Messiah”!
The Life is sustained by Our Father(Creator), in Creation as we now experience it, through The Spirit.
Simply, Creation is sufficient!
Once again, The Messiah testified, “I have not spoken of Myself; but The Father(Great Spirit, GOD, Creator,,) WHO sent Me, HE gave Me a commandment, what I should say, and how I should speak.” (John 12:49)”
“Don’t you believe that I am in The Father, and The Father in Me? The Words that I speak unto you I speak not of Myself: but The Father WHO dwells in Me, HE does The Works.” (John 14:10)
“He that loves Me not, does not keep My sayings: and The Word which you hear is not Mine, but The Father’s, HE WHO sent Me.” (John 14:24)”
I have manifested YOUR Name unto the men WHO YOU gave Me out of the world: YOUR’s they were, and YOU gave them to Me; and they have kept YOUR Word.” (John 17:6)”
Then answered The Messiah and said unto them, Truly, Truly, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of Himself, but that which He has seen The Father do: for whatever things The Father does, those things The Son also does.” (John 5:19)”
I can of Mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and My judgment is just; because I seek not Mine own will, but The Will of The Father WHO has sent Me.” (John 5:30)
And The Testimonies bear witness to The Messiah being “a servant” of “The ONLY TRUE GOD”. (Isaiah 42:1)
Hope is, there will be those reading this who will no longer deny and defy their Creator(Father), for The Creator, The Only True GOD(Great Spirit) and Father of All, HE knows what is best for HIS Creation.
So There Is Hope!
For Miracles do happen!
Hope is there may be those who experience The Miracle that is “receiving a love of The Truth”, for they will “Come Out” from among those who are destroying and perverting Creation(land, air, water, vegetation, creatures, Light, Truth, Life, Love, Peace, Hope, Faith, Miracles, .etc.)
Those who “Come Out” will desire but “A Simple and Spiritual Life”, and they no longer will be of those The Creator is going to “destroy because they are destroying the earth(HIS Creation)”. (Revelations 11:18c)
And they will have Peace, in spite of the dis-ease(no-peace) that is of this wicked world and it’s systems of religion, for “The WHOLE world is under the control of the evil one”(1John5:19) indeed and Truth……

Wonderful post. What I can tell you is that I know the contents of this post to be true. The universal life force energy that flows through the Universe is what powers both human beings and the Universe itself.
I love the visualization in this post and the advice on a sunrise meditation. What a wonderful way to start the day. Makes me think that building a home oriented towards the rising sun with a meditation room would be a great goal.
To build upon this thought, please know that our relationship to God is much more than passive absorber of life force energy. We have a symbiotic relationship with every living thing and that includes God too. We humble ourselves to believe that we couldn’t possibly provide for God but forget that, in God creating us, He intended a purpose for our existence. It is only logical to conclude that our purpose would benefit the Creator too.
Refrain from judging yourself in this realization. God put you here for a reason and in fulfilling that purpose you fulfill the destiny that He intended for you. In this, God loves you and wants you to be successful, healthy and the full embodiment of your potential. The life force energy described in this post is not only fulfilling but healing, inspiring and capable of energizing you to accomplish any task.
The challenge for each of us is to discover that task.

I’ll have to try this one, what I like is how the description of “breathing in the light”. I started meditation in August and I have to say thoughts of connection to the Sun and Earth are refreshing and you can actually feel them working. Becoming in touch with nature and the Earth is awakening and can heal you as well as using your love to heal the Earth.
Sounds kind of wacky to most who never tried this path, but if you do you can get a heck of a lot more out of it than any religion can offer.
